11th Hour Racing
World-class sailors Rob Windsor and Hannah Jenner joined forces as Team 11th Hour Racing in the 20th anniversary of the Transat Jacques Vabre, considered the “Super Bowl of offshore sailing”. The team strove to set eco-firsts by implementing the most innovative eco-friendly solutions to race more efficiently and minimize environmental impact in the month-long, 5,600-mile sailing race that began in Le Havre, France and ended in Itajai, Brazil. KCC was asked to develop a promotional brochure to be distributed at the event which featured twenty-five teams of two competing in front of an expected crowd of 300,000 fans attending launch week. We worked with printers overseas in France to facilitate the production of the piece.
Volvo Ocean Race
KCC was a part of a team of graphic designers for both the 2015 and 2018 Newport stopover of the Volvo Ocean Race. In 2015 KCC designed the Volunteer Handbook, a guide to help regulate and inform the many volunteers who support the event. The goal with this piece was to create a platform where information could be accessed quickly and easily.
KCC also spearheaded a new marketing platform for this global event focused towards children, called the Race Village Passport which can be found in the Kid’s Corner here.
