Willa's Sweet Shack
Katie worked with colleague Terri Connors to develop a brand for her candy store located in downtown Newport. Together they blended colors to develop a color palate from which Katie created an identity system, and also inspired the decor of the shop. They collaborated with a local artist to create a 3D version of the logo for store signage and with FAB Newport and IYRS students who fabricated functional design elements for the store. Katie designed window decals and flags to tie the outside image together.

Brand Identity
A Board Member of this start-up non-profit, Katie was an active member of the marketing and development committee. As the organization grew, the need arose for solid branding guidelines. In collaboration with Worldways Social Media, Katie spearheaded a re-brand project for the organization to ensure consistency throughout all communication platforms, and increase office efficiency for the small staff. We created a solid identity system that also included templates for ads and mailers and a functional and easily edited web site.
HOOD Sailmakers

KCC redefined Hood’s corporate identity by modernizing and solidifying artwork, colorways, and fonts for this classic sailmaker under new management. Together we pinpointed a new target audience and developed a meaningful strategy for advertisements and signage based on the concept of long-term trust, reliability, and classic yet innovative construction.
